Dr. Sean Curry

Patient Education

Dr. Sean Curry is a 2001 graduate of National College of Chiropractic. He lives just north of the city in Evanston, IL with his wife Catherine and their two children (Aislinn and Ehren).  Dr. Curry has been a practicing chiropractor since 2001.  He started practicing in a multi-disciplinary clinic in the northwest suburbs, where he worked alongside medical doctors to help alleviate pain and muscle dysfunction.  After four years of practice, believing in the body's healing force, he left this practice to join East Bank Chiropractic.  It was here that he could help patients move away from the "need" of medication and help them grab hold of the internal healing force all bodies have.

Dr. Curry utilizes the following chiropractic techniques for his patients:  Diversified, Drop Table, Activator, Flexion/Distraction, spinal decompression and Webster’s Technique for the correction of breached babies.  Dr. Curry has had great success in treating conditions such as:  headaches, migraines, fertility issues, low back pain, neck pain, pain or numbness in the limbs, ankle disorders, carpal tunnel syndrome, and general wellness.

“I became a chiropractor because I wanted to focus on the body's internal ability to heal itself. My favorite taspect about the practice is our ability to help so many people live to their fullest health potential.  Every time I adjust someone, I am confident that I am making them better by allowing their brain to communicate with all of the cells of the body."

When asked about his job, Dr. Curry stated, "I love adjusting families and keeping everyone healthy with the diversity of our practice.  I feel that teaching children the importance of good spinal posture and health habits can prevent a significant amount of degenerative problems that adults are facing today.  Additionally, if you have multiple members of the family coming in together, it sets up a system of checks and balances at home, to help facilitate optimal results for everyone.”

Dr. Curry is a member of the following organizations; Illinois Chiropractic Society, American Chiropractic Association, American Academy of Spine Physicians, American Pregnancy Association, and the National College of Chiropractic Alumni. He actively pursues continuing education on technique and new research in the chiropractic field, to better enhance his ability to properly care for his patients.  Through Windy City Wellness, Dr. Curry donates his time by conducting free health and wellness seminars to Chicago schools and businesses.

In his spare time, Dr. Curry enjoys reading, cooking, entertaining his children, making his famous "daddy cakes", homebrewing, letter-boxing, and getting out into nature through hiking, swimming, and biking.
